Behind The Project
We were selected for the construction of a new Wastewater Treatment Facility for Pinnacle Foods - Birds-Eye Packaging Plant in Waseca, MN in September 2014.
This plant packages primarily corn, peas and beans. The operations of the plant generate a considerable amount of wastewater in the packaging of these foods. The new wastewater treatment plant is comprised of three large HDPE lined lagoons with blowers and aeration equipment to treat the wastewater.
In addition we installed pumping equipment and over 2 miles of piping to spray the treated water on local fields for irrigation. We started construction in November or 2014 and began treating the wastewater in September 2015.
The final construction cost was approximately $7.6 million.
